Vince Welchis creating insights into music production
Tip of the Day
Every day I'm posting a brand new mixing tip. From compressing your kick drum to flanging your tambourines, I'll be covering all sorts of mixing topics in the form of easily digestible daily nuggets.
Every couple weeks I'll be posting a comprehensive overview of a production I've mixed. A great way to learn about what goes into making a modern rock production.
Song of the Week
I'll be doing an in-depth analysis of a commercial song's production each week.
Access to my Patreon Feed
My Private Drum Sample Library
A collection of drum samples I've made from sessions/albums I've been apart of over the years. Now available for you to use on your own productions!
"Daily" Live Stream
Every day (with some exceptions), I'll be streaming a half hour live of me mixing. This is an invaluable chance to see some unedited, real world mixing.
Everything from the $5 tier
Send me up to 3 mixes a month, and I'll give you detailed feedback on what I think of them and any improvements I think you could make.
You'll have access to never before released multitracks of various productions I've worked on over the years.
Monthly Mixing "Contest"
Every month I'll be uploading a multitrack session for my patrons to mix. I'll do my own mix and at the end of the month I'll select my favorite from the Patron mixes and make a video comparing that mix with my own.
Everything from the $5 and $15 dollar tiers
About Vince Welch
My name is Vince. You might know me as the mysterious "sound designer"/producer for Bent Knee. Or maybe you know me as the guy who mixed your record. Or maybe, you just know me as a friend. But regardless of how you know me, you know that music is my passion. Between touring with my band and mixing and producing albums, almost every day of my life revolves around music. I feel incredibly fortunate that I've been able to make music the focus of my life so far.
Recently I've started teaching private mixing/production lessons over the internet. It's been a great experience, but I've quickly learned that not everyone who's interested in music production can afford to take regular private lessons. What's excites me about Patreon, is that I can offer educational approaches that fit any budget and interest level. Wether you just want to get a peak behind the curtain to see how some of the music you like is made, or you're serious about learning to make professional quality recordings of your own, there's something here for you.
Where does the money go?
Like most good things, quality educational content is time consuming to produce. Trying to juggle projects, lessons, starting a YouTube channel and paying the bills is not easy. Establishing a reliable monthly income stream through Patreon will allow me to spend less time working odd jobs, and more time mixing and producing content for you.
What are you getting?
It's important to me that all my patrons are getting a good value for their money, so I've put a lot of thought into making sure that at every level you're getting your money's worth. Check out the rewards list in the sidebar for more info.
If you've gotten to this page in the first place, there's a good chance that you've been an important part of my life in one way or another. So thank you for everything, and I hope to see you around!
