About Vince Welch

My name is Vince. You might know me as the mysterious "sound designer"/producer for Bent Knee. Or maybe you know me as the guy who mixed your record. Or maybe, you just know me as a friend. But regardless of how you know me, you know that music is my passion. Between touring with my band and mixing and producing albums, almost every day of my life revolves around music. I feel incredibly fortunate that I've been able to make music the focus of my life so far.

Why am I starting a Patreon?
Recently I've started teaching private mixing/production lessons over the internet. It's been a great experience, but I've quickly learned that not everyone who's interested in music production can afford to take regular private lessons. What's excites me about Patreon, is that I can offer educational approaches that fit any budget and interest level. Wether you just want to get a peak behind the curtain to see how some of the music you like is made, or you're serious about learning to make professional quality recordings of your own, there's something here for you.

Where does the money go?
Like most good things, quality educational content is time consuming to produce. Trying to juggle projects, lessons, starting a YouTube channel and paying the bills is not easy. Establishing a reliable monthly income stream through Patreon will allow me to spend less time working odd jobs, and more time mixing and producing content for you.

What are you getting?
It's important to me that all my patrons are getting a good value for their money, so I've put a lot of thought into making sure that at every level you're getting your money's worth. Check out the rewards list in the sidebar for more info.

Thank You
If you've gotten to this page in the first place, there's a good chance that you've been an important part of my life in one way or another. So thank you for everything, and I hope to see you around!

$130 of $500 per month
If I reach $500, I'll start posting a new instructional video on YouTube every week. My patrons will have exclusive first access to these videos.
