First off, like I try to say in all of my videos, thank you to all of my dedicated subscribers and supporters to my VintageMachinery.org web site and YouTube Channel.  When watching my videos, please hit the like button and take the time to leave me a comment - that is what I love about my channel more than anything else, connecting with my viewers!

Working in the shop, creating things, restoring and using the vintage machinery that made made this world the place that is is are all passions of mine.  My YouTube channel is devoted to sharing what I do in the shop and passing down the knowledge that I have learned to help preserve a old school techniques for the others that come behind me.

Why Patreon? Ever since I started doing YouTube videos, I have literally been overwhelmed by the response that I have received.  The channel has already grown into something much larger than I ever thought it would. At least partially due to the response of this channel, I have personally made a huge step in faith by building a new shop at my home - at least partially so that I can have access to the machines and a space to create new videos right in my back yard rather than having to travel to another location to shoot video.  It is my hope that my home shop can become a studio that is better suited for video work to make more frequent and higher quality videos than what I am able to do now.  But, as I am sure everybody knows, this takes a lot of time - and money.  You can't help me with the time part (but having the shop at home helps make it more convenient), but you can help me with the money part.

Your support of my channel will help me to take my YouTube videos to the next level.  Your financial contribution will help me to purchase materials, tooling, pay the power bill, improve the shop building, as well as to expand the machinery that I have at my disposal to teach on.  And because a large portion of the project that I work on are used at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture where I am a dedicated volunteer at, your contributions are indirectly helping the museum at the same time.

If you like the sound of that, then please show your support with a monthly pledge, and know that you are helping to create something of value for all of us!

Thank you!

Monies earned through Patreon will typically be used to continue to support shop improvements.  Needs for the shop (in no particular order) include:
1 - Ceiling and walls in the wood shop side of the new building.
2 - Some climate control to help with the very hot summer months here in South Georgia.
3 - Improvements to the electrical system including running various 3-phase circuits to individual machines in the shop.
4 - Storage - shelves, cabinets, etc.
5 - LED light fixtures for the wood shop.
6 - Fill dirt to go outside the shop where the land drops off.
7 - A concrete slab and lean to cover down the back side of the shop for outside storage.
8 - Rebuilding an air compressor and installing air lines though out the shop.
9 - Gravel for the drive leading up to the shop.
