About Voiceclub and its Goals

Voiceclub is a platform for transformative conversations. The scale at which they take place depends, in part, on you.

The aim is to develop a global community built on critical, creative dialogue about the precarious unknown of our collective future.

Many important topics fall into this scope.

The many important questions of interest

Voiceclub explores questions that cluster around meaning. That is, questions of philosophy, psychology, science, psychedelics and frontier culture, as these domains relate to each other, living and society.

At a slightly finer grain, Voiceclub hosts conversations and events which tackle those questions most polarising in the current zeitgeist: the nature of consciousness, the relationship between left and right in a shifting political landscape, the relation between masculinity and femininity, identity politics, censorship and hate, the cost and importance of free speech, the conflict between science and religion, capitalism, futurism, truth, and more.

Worthwhile commitments

It is a guiding thesis of this project that the fragmentation which eternally threatens the harmony of man’s future is driven by his necessarily oppositional nature. We create and we destroy; we are one and we are other; we feel and we think.

We need boundaries, and we need to step beyond them.

We require order and we require chaos: a firm base in actuality so as to appropriately relate to potential.

Each science and mysticism are born of wonder, and hold utility only to the extent they enable each other's proper function: to make parts and to make wholes, respectively.

But fragmentation is not the only threat. So too, it is taken, that an accompanying danger appears as the desire to fix a given fragmentation as the-final-whole, to submit to ideology or dogma that tries to form a totality by eliminating the reality of change.

How conversations are pursued

Voiceclub aims to develop an attitude and environment that facilitates the kind of bridge-making that allows our imaginative and critical faculties to work in harmony. That doesn’t mean rejecting conflict. It rather means taking it on, in process, oriented by a shared commitment to what is vital.

Voiceclub is about conversations that allow our imaginative and critical faculties to work in pursuit of truth and meaning. And so, to join those other platforms and individuals across the globe who intend the same.
