What is Warm Regards?

Warm Regards is a podcast about life on a warming planet. Our conversations are often honest and raw, as we talk with newsmakers, researchers, activists, policymakers, artists, and others as we push past the graphs and the headlines to get at the heart of what it means to live and work in a warming world. Our current season focuses on the often unexpected human stories behind climate data, from how it's collected to what we do with it. We're just as much a podcast about what it means to be human as we are about climate change-- how we think, decide, love, grieve, change our behavior, and roll up our sleeves to tackle our toughest challenges.

Who is Warm Regards?

Warm Regards is hosted by Jacquelyn Gill and Ramesh Laungani. We are scientists, advocates, and writers who love living and working on Planet Earth. We invite you to roll up your sleeves with us, because we're all in this together.

Why should you support Warm Regards?

Warm Regards is a labor of love, but we'd love to be able to pay our producer, Justin Schell, our transcriber, Joe Stormer, and our social media coordinator, Katherine Peinhardt, who are all working as volunteers. Your support helps us not only to stay sustainable, but also to grow. Here are some things we'd like to do:

- Bring you stories from the front lines. We'd love to do more on-the-ground reporting, reaching the people most affected by climate change. Instead of only hearing about these experiences from experts, we'd love to go to the source, and to bring our listeners with us.

- Amplify more marginalized voices. Do you ever feel like you keep hearing the same voices in the climate conversation? We try to do things differently at Warm Regards. This work takes time, dedication, and the cultivation of relationships as we build trust with marginalized communities. Diversity and inclusion are important to our mission, and we want to continue to grow in this area.

- Grow our audience. We love that scientists and policymakers listen to our show. But to fight climate silence, we need to reach a broader audience, which takes time and dedication.

- Build our platform. A dedicated website, fun Warm Regards swag, a more active presence on social media -- as we continue to grow the podcast, your support will help us create the infrastructure that will help us spread the word.

At this time, we don't have membership perks, because we want our conversations to be available to everyone. Our first priority is paying our volunteer production team, and we don't want to divert precious funds or time to create exclusive content while we still have so much we'd like to do to grow the show and make it the best it can be.
