Thanks to your support, I will now be able to start finding more time to do more studies on anatomy, figure and gesture drawing. I will use everything I've learnt to put together tutorials focused on the basics and go further into as many specifics as I can for you.
Start creating art fundamental and process tutorials.
Time to dive into video tutorials on my understanding of the fundamentals. This will cover things like lighting, colour, composition and texture. I will also cover a few digital and traditional basics such as tools and techniques and routine advice.

Before we are artists, we are human beings, with many things defining who we are, which has a big impact on our artistic path. Here I would love to share my personal ever expanding views on art and life. I will also get into different areas of my experience with the industry.

Hello :) My name is Warren Louw and I love drawing! I consider myself a character designer and portrait artist and have been fortunate enough to have my art feature across the internet and in a number of publications. I also found my way to working on some amazing jobs for various companies, both large and small in the entertainment and advertising industry.

Hey there! Welcome to my Patreon page :) Im a freelance illustrator with a love of drawing people, especially female characters. Ive managed to work for some big names in the entertainment industry, such as ImagineFX, Udon Entertainment, Marvel, DC Comics, Bandai Namco and others, but Im now at the point of wanting to focus more of my time on those who count most, my awesome fans. Without you I wouldn't be where I am today. This is where I believe its time to start sharing more of whats within me, with you.
My Goal on Patreon:
Being part of such a powerful and genius platform that Patreon truly is, it finally gives me the opportunity to bring to life 2 major goals that I never could before:
1) I can finally start sharing with you more of the artwork I create, how I make it happen and share all my experience and knowledge with you. I have so much I would love to share with you, but not just about art and how to be a better artist. I want to bring to light the challenges and struggles involved on deeper levels too.
2) For the past long while I've been dealing with a number of struggles with my artwork and I've been trying to treat this with a range of fundamental studies and much more. Doing this can be pretty hard to fit in in-between work and life. Now with your support, you can help provide the space I need to take this much further than ever before. This will also help with giving me more time for the huge facial study I set out on. This is a process of freeing myself of bad habits and fears that keep me limited, and this is a journey I would love to share with you.
What this is really about, and makes me so excited for is that this is all about building a strong community with you, my awesome fans! Being an artist can be real hard at times, but together we can help each other through it all.
How's Patreon work?
Patreon gives you the opportunity to subscribe to content creators, such as myself, where in my case I will be giving you access to seeing my creation process on an ongoing basis. I have 5 levels you can subscribe to, starting from $1 (my personal daily sketches, studies, warm ups
and access to my Patreon stream where I will be active on a regular basis). What I offer will only expand more and more as my Milestone Goals are reached to be able to make the time I need for sharing more with you. I will make sure to bring you the best of what I can offer and for now, Im going to try aim for releasing content about once a month. I have not yet set a date for when I will start releasing content. Im hoping within the next month or so, but for now I felt I just needed to get my account up and running. If I start releasing more frequently and you don't have the finances to keep up, you can simply set your account to a monthly limit so you never go over. I really don't want you to put yourself at any potential risk.
This is unknown territory for me, so its a lil scary, lol. How my page has been set up (goals, rewards, etc.) will be tweaked and fine tuned along the way and Im always up for your suggestions :)
