About

WeAreLATech is a bridge to get to know the startups fueling this city to become a top destination for tech and innovation. Created by Espree Devora, born and raised LA.

One LA startup is featured every day. The site has a calendar of all LA Tech related events (updated weekly), hosts a weekly podcast focused on "Silicon Beach" and has an LA Startup focused job board.

The LA tech scene has come a long way from its humble beginnings rooted in family vibe backyard BBQs where everyone knew each others name, to an overwhelming calendar of events hosted in top notch venues all over the city drawing hundreds of people with many new startups launching every day.

The scene has become so large and sprawled out that we want to try and bring the familiarity back.

Kevin Mak can we have a patreon level where we can have Tom do the entire shows in his Beats Radio DJ voice/accent?

Gabriele Ponti I had the same problem as Andrew with non-public podcasts (or any other MP3 file that I want to play in my podcasts app). If you have a hosting site that runs PHP there's a podcast_libs.php script by Sherif Mansour that you can use to create an on-the-fly feed for files stored on your site. After you install it and customize it, you subscribe to it from your app. Then you FTP files to your site, and they will appear in the feed.
