I'm committed to creating spaces where we can all grow into brave, authentic, vulnerable relationships across lines of difference. We are all needed in this work; albeit in very different ways and this community can be a way for us to dream, envision, imagine and remember together.

I offer as much access to the content on this platform in a way that values the integrity of my work while remaining as economically inclusive as possible.

The eight-tiered scale are: Community, Supporter, Sustainer, Collaborator, Accomplice, Accomplice+, Nurturer, Nurturer+. Based on your personal life situation, social location and relationship to power, positionality and privilege, choose the level you are able to invest in.

Through this platform, I'll offer the following to meet the needs of our community:

Accessible Ashtanga Yoga Tutorials
Each month I'll post yoga video tutorials featuring a trauma-informed, more accessible approach to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. Available for all tiers; access to the videos will be in accordance with your tier.

Newsletter
Each month, I'll share with you what I'm engaging, incorporating and using on my quest for personal + collective liberation, such as affirmation/mantra practice and journal prompts for self-reflection. I'll include any books and other media I find particularly inspiring and thought-provoking.

Fellowship Meditation
We'll meet every fourth week of each month. For this one hour session, we can speak, sit in silence, meditate, imagine and dream together. We can practice being vulnerable, honest, brave and compassionate. We didn't get indoctrinated into systemic oppression in a vacuum and we can't unlearn and heal in isolation. This shorter one hour session will include a seated mediation and room for fellowship. Available for all tiers.

I offer sliding scale payment options for those who identify as QT/BIPOC and seek economically accessible wellness and healing. No one turned away due to lack of funds. If you identify as QT/BIPOC and wish to access healing and wellness through a trauma-informed, intersectional, anti-oppressive lens, contact me and we'll set something up for you. QTBIPOC youth between 18-30 especially encouraged to apply.

About wambuinjugunaofficial

I'm a wellness advocate, peace bringer and dream-maker questioning who gets to breath, access wellness and be whole and who doesn't. Seismic shifts in the yoga industrial complex starts from within and leaves no one out. It means dreaming, imagining and remembering how to be in relation first with yourself and then sharing the love with community.

I place special emphasis on creating healing spaces for people of the global majority. However, I am deeply cognisant of the fact that anti-blackness hurts everyone, even those who seem to benefit from it on a material level.

I create spaces and content meant to inspire and appeal to open-minded fellow human beings  to lead a healthy lifestyle. By taking up the practices of yoga, meditation and ancestral healing, we ca return to our most natural, authentic, happy selves.

I'd like to see wellness spaces engage more in social justice + collective change and activist spaces learn to breathe deeply and practice sustainable self-care in the midst of dismantling and abolishing systemic oppression. This is my definition of community care.

This is an open space for all who are interested in seeking liberation from the habituation of white supremacy and systemic oppression.

This is an open space created in the spirit of Ubuntu: I Am because We Are.

Join us in the marvellous, messy transformation and evolution of our collective human potential.
