Hey All. Welcome to my Patreon! Even if you don't become a patron, I am super glad you are here. Feel free to peruse my content and if you are looking for something special take a look at my site here! ====>

Being an artist with an eclectic mentality. I did not know how to define my style or even myself. There were just too many facets. But who woulda thought, that was the answer? My art is fractal in nature and I like to think it is rhythm and beat portrayed in color. "Tapping the Artbeat," as it were. My love of fractals comes from my first foray with genetic flame fractal screensavers. Beautiful art that I attempted to mimic but was alas, wildly unsuccessful. It was this first step that opened my eyes to sacred geometry, phi, li symmetries, and the underlying realm of number as expressed through image. My art is an art and not a science my shapes are not perfect and lines aren't straight, but the iteration is there and it repeats in levels, degrees, and dimensions.

What I am offering here, is for you to join me in my journey as I delve into the realms of number as an expression of nature. The goal is an ecstatic portrayal not a formulaic one. Though there will be options for subscribers to learn how to draw perfect shapes with just a compass and a straight edge! I will primarily use images for portrayal, but if you want to look deeper with me I will provide essays, poems, sculpture, video, animation, and anything else I can take the time to create. I am open to recommendations, this IS for you as well. Your patronage will go to the usual (rent, supplies, prints, food). But once we really get underway, I hope to put it to more constructive things as well, like books, research materials, rendering software, and tools. I have a heavy background in construction so the need to create tangible physical objects is just nigh of compulsion.

Here is a little about myself, I received my BFA (bachelors in fine arts, studio art) from a little college in southeastern Iowa. It was here that I forced myself into the abstract bubble and drifted away from the joys of number. The benefit was astounding and debilitating, it created freedom of mind, but damn was it pretentious. Since then I have had my own studio and have become a weekend warrior in-between, though interesting, jobs. For 6 months I worked for a stained glass studio learning to repair, construct, frame, paint, remove, clean, and apply protective covering to windows across the country. After leaving that job due to the stress of working a highly physical 80+ hour work week I now "enjoy," a basic warehouse job for a sustainable building materials company, this allows me to come into contact with lots of new interesting things to put in my work. The downside being that "green" products are usually more expensive.

This joy I find in number, has many turns and is far reaching. I hope to show you the expression of number in nature and the beauty of nature in number.
