Rod Puppet

Rod puppets live on the end of a stick and boy can that be a tough place to balance! Often performed above you these can be a real pain in the neck ;)
Shadow Puppet

Shadow puppets can take many forms - a true master of disguise they can change with the angle of the light source! We use 3d objects, paper cut outs, masks and transparencies as shadow puppet elements!

Wide Open is dedicated to creating original, live, professional puppet shows for children and families. Well let's get real - we want to create an atmosphere where puppeteers can create amazing shows and where families can connect over the storytelling that ensues. What can we say? We love puppets and we love families. We want to get those families out of their houses, cabins and caravans to enjoy a spectacular afternoon together, connecting and laughing over our shared humanity - through puppetry!
