About
Me? I am and artist who has worked in Comics, Games and TV on some of the most iconic project; Transformers, Spider-man, X-Men, Power Ranger, Doctor Who etc etc as a comic book illustrator, production designer and storyboard artist.
I also trained as a 'Personal Development Coach' a what? a 'Life Coach', and I used that in my 'Transformational Graphic Novel', HORIZON, described by industry legend Dave Gibbons as 'A fascinating and thrilling journey through the psyche, simultaneously thoughtful and kinetic.'

I love that quote. It resonates for me in so many ways, not just in terms of how you view your own life and circumstances but also how you view art.
In my work I am always fascinated by the metaphorical content of images and narratives. This loomed large in the comic book, Transformers and is also apparent in Doctor Who. In my own graphic novel, Horizon, I used this to its fullest extent to produce, what I call, a 'Transformational Graphic Novel' and to create a narrative that is designed to help the reader by showing them the metaphorical content of their own subconscious conversations and internal dialogue. So what's next?
Its all about TRANSFORMATION
So this is where I need your help. What I am creating is going to take a bit of time and I need some 'patrons' to help me along the way. Initially I am going to take some of the iconic characters that I have worked on and go LARGE. This will be achieved by creating canvases and expressing these characters in a new medium. This will Transform your view of those characters. You will no longer look down on them in your lap as you read about them in comic books, but rather, they will look down on you from the wall as they exist in canvas and paint. The mere act of changing the viewing experience will bring up new understandings of what you see before you and of yourself as the viewer.
Beyond this I then have other ideas that I want to create as larger art pieces. Some will be brand new characters and some will be based on Horizon.

Along the way there will be all sorts of side things happening that you will be kept up to date with and invited to join in online discussions about along with; sketches, sketchbooks, doodles, blog posts, video blogs, virtual studio tours etc etc. Hey, I may even turn up at your place and hang out ;-) Patrons like you will be on this journey with me from 'desk' to 'wall' and beyond. And your presence and contributions are very much appreciated. I can't do it on my own, and for your help there will be stuff coming your way.
