First of all, what is Witchy?
"In the witch kingdom Hyalin, the strength of your magic is determined by the length of your hair. Those that are strong enough are conscripted by the Witch Guard, who enforce the law in peacetime and protect the land during war. However, those with hair judged too long are pronounced enemies of the kingdom, and annihilated. This is called a witch burning."
Witchy is a comic about the young witch Nyneve, who is haunted by the burning of her father and the threat The Guard poses to her own life. With conscription drawing ever closer, she hides her hair from everyone but her mother.

Hey! I'm Ariel. I started posting Witchy on January 1st, this year. Before then I'd been studying Animation for a year at a university in Melbourne, Australia - where I was born. But everything changed this year when I got accepted into The Animation Workshop, and hauled myself over to Denmark. TAW is a fantastic school, but sadly doesn't leave me much time to work on top of study and creating Witchy.
