Hello! I'm Kathryn and I make arty comics.
~ Website ~ Twitter ~ Tumblr

I use my classical fine art training to create comics that blur the line between sequential and fine art; I'd much rather have my work dog-eared and tea-stained than behind glass and in a gallery.  I use watercolors, inks, pencils, collages; whatever I can get my hands on.

I also write all my stories!  My short strips tend to be auto-bio or slice of life, while my big on going comic series is "Triskelion". It’s a basic story – A Hero, A Victim, A Villain. But what happens when archetypes join forces to catapult their timeless narrative beyond the confines of beginning-middle-end and into a realm of consciousness that transcends the roles they were born to play?  Triskelion follows a goddess of Wisdom, a sea-witch with immeasurable power, and an innocent girl and her cat as they unite ancient story with a post-modern quest for persona. Gnothi Seauton!

Currently, I'm working on an unannounced graphic novel.  Which is very exciting!  I'm also always working on personal projects, which I'll share here.  Your support would mean that I would have more time to focus on creating these personal comics and more funds to table at cons and book fairs. Plus, it would pretty much mean the world to me to know I have your kind support!
