I’m Sarah Connolly, a freelance cycling writer, tweeter and social media obsessive, who specialises in professional women’s cycling. Over the past five years I’ve written hundreds of articles and hosted hundreds more podcasts, interviewing people from all levels of the sport, curated my women's cycling Tumblr and talked cycling endlessly on twitter.
I know this sport inside out and I love it in all its forms. It has a rich history and is filled with amazing characters, and there are thousands of incredible stories left to tell. I’m passionate about bringing those stories to the public.
I’ve been a paid contributor for Rouleur, Cyclingnews, Procycling Magazine, Total Women’s Cycling and other outlets, and write regularly for Podium Café and my own site, ProWomensCycling.com. I’m also a founding co-host of The Unofficial, Unsanctioned Women’s UCI Cycling Show podcast and in 2014 have added a series of in-depth audio interviews with riders, team managers and other important contributors to the sport.
While I’m fortunate enough to be paid for some of my work, and I very much hope I can continue to be commissioned, the majority of it has been done for free and in my spare time. By choosing to support me via Patreon, you’ll be helping me to be able to contribute more time to interviewing, exploring and researching the sport, writing articles and improving what I do.
