Hi! I'm the owner, head-dyer and sometimes designer at Nutmeg Fibers, an Independent Yarn Company. That's been my full-time job for the past 4 years. I specialize in working with natural dyes on wool and alpaca fibers, and get great joy from sending yarn out across the world to knitters, as well as to designers that I collaborate with. But also, I'm a single mum with 2 teenage kids, rapidly getting close to adulthood, and I love spending as much time with them as possible! My knitting needles are always nearby, and I spend a good deal of time working with natural dyes in my dye shed to create new colors for our yarn. But enough about me...here's a bit more about Nutmeg Fibers' new adventure here on Patreon:
I'm so excited to welcome you all to "Wooland"! This is a new, member based community that is all about sharing dye traditions, knitting techniques and more. It's a place for lovers of fiber arts to become a monthly patron of a wool and natural dye-loving community, at three supremely affordable tiers (see sidebar for details), so that I can continue to study natural dye techniques in depth, become more skilled as a yarn dyer and knitting master, and create a valuable library of fiber arts related tutorials for anyone that wants to learn!

Basically...your membership enables us to create more and more free tutorial content and more at Nutmeg Fibers, so that anyone, anywhere, anytime can learn to knit or dye yarn!

Our Patreon family has exclusive access to VIP information about Nutmeg Fibers inventory updates, dye and knitting tutorials, occasional FREE PATTERN DOWNLOADs and much more! Here in our 3rd month, I've begun a series of short fiction pieces called "The Wooland Tales", that only our members are able to read! I want to help nurture the maker in you through these clear and inspiring tutorials, as well as create a fun, fiber arts loving family for all of you that join us here in Wooland!

I'd love it if you took a minute to scroll through my Goals (see sidebars) here on Patreon, so you can see more about how your membership here in Wooland will grow Nutmeg Fibers, bit by bit!

I'm SOOOOO glad that you stopped by, and hope that you'll decide to stay with us here in Wooland for a while.
