About Lisa Wool-Rim Sjöblom

What I do

I make both my own and commissioned work in which I seek to broaden the representation of people of colour. If you want to see more of my work, please visit my portfolio blog.

Adoptee rights activism

On my instagram I regularly post art and critical texts regarding issues of adoption. I'm also involved in the Swedish Korean Adoptee Network, a small group of people who organise demonstrations, meet with legislators and government authorities to try and implement change. We also hold seminars, lectures, film screenings and provide help with first family searches in Korea through an extensive booklet that we continuously keep up to date.

What you'll receive as my patron

As my patron you'll receive sneak previews, you'll get to see sketches and drafts and you'll get access to behind-the-scenes material. In the future I also plan to provide patrons with tips, tricks and workshops.

Your support helps my work

With your support I'll be able to keep making my voice heard within and outside the adoptee community in the form of comics, illustrations and activism. But most importantly, your support will enable me to continue working on my next graphic novel. For more information about how Patreon works, read  here.

Thank you for your attention!
Lots of love,
-Lisa Wool-Rim Sjöblom
