Milestone Goals
Two Wootlabs a week!
This is a big one for me; it's a sign that people like the comic enough to give their hard earned cash to support it. In addition to just like, TOTALLY making me smile like an idiot all month long, every month that this goal is met there'll be two Wootlabs every week! The usual one on Mondays, and another on Wednesdays. That's TWICE the Pengi! And the other jokers too I guess.
Reader-selected spinoff comic!
Hitting this will let me make a living off the comic. Not a huge living, but enough for rent, eats, expenses. This would be -huge- for me, and I'd be thrilled to see numbers anywhere near this high. If we get this high, every month there will be an 8-12 page comic focused around a character that wins a reader poll; out of the supporting cast of Wootlabs. Characters like Booth and Judamaru, the Hyperion Force, or Riot Girl could have their chance to shine! Only people that pledge will be eligible to vote, letting the comic's finest supporters have a say in this new direction!

Hey everyone!
Thanks for checking out the Wootlabs Patreon! I'm the creator of Wootlabs, Joe, or according to all my online handles, DiceKnight. I'd like to take a minute to explain how Patreon works, and what you can expect if you're interested in supporting the webcomic through it. So let's get started, shall we?What is Patreon?
Simply put, Patreon is a way for people to show their support for creators of online content. YouTube celebs, musicians, artists, those kind of folks. It works in opposite fashion to a Kickstarter, though. Where a Kickstarter has people put up money for a product before its been released, Patreon is a way of supporting an ongoing, existing project. A good way to look at it is like you're giving a tip to someone for producing something that makes you smile. What's a Woot...labs?
If you're not familiar with it, Wootlabs is a free webcomic that updates every Monday. It's a lot of things, really. Humor, action, sci-fi, superheroes, a bit of drama...the basic story involves the exploits of a supervillain named Square Woot, who turns into a hero when she realizes there's more to life than being a bad guy. It's a family friendly comic without profanity or anything beyond Saturday morning cartoon violence, and has a lot of positive themes. Some recurring themes within the comic include showing the negative repercussions of bullying and the importance of family. It also depicts a positive, non-stereotypical portrayal of a GLBT couple, and female protagonists that are different than the usual role women play in superhero comics. It's a great comic for young people, people that enjoy a bit of humor with their superhero tales, and people that feel like women and GLBT individuals have been poorly represented by the industry in the past. But don't just take my word for it, check it out yourself! http://wootlabs.thewebcomic.com
