EarthBound - Onett Theme!

When I heard that Satoru Iwata died, I knew I had to do a video in tribute to him somehow.  The Onett Town theme has been requested of me dozens of times, so what better video to pay homage to Iwata than from a game he programmed himself.

I hope you guys enjoy my version of this theme.  It's one of my favorites from EarthBound!

James Hinz It's so weird. I was just thinking to myself "I wonder what Smooth has been up to lately? I hope when he gets back he does something really awesome and retro like Earthbound (because these modern consoles are full of games I haven't played before)" And voila, there it is! Great work. Hope to hear more EB and/or Uematsu stuff sometime.

FFX - Wandering Flame...with something a little different

I really love this song from FFX.  These ambient, awesomely emotional songs really get me for some reason.  Maybe it's the huge chords that sustain forever, bathed in ethereal reverb...I had to give this one a shot!

While recording the whimsical melody/solo to this song, I kept trying to sing the melody from Chrono Trigger - Secret of the Forest.  After a while of resisting the urge, I decided to just go with it.  It worked great!  Hope you guys like the slight difference, because I think it fits pretty well :D

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations - Objection! 2004 :D

When I first started recording Objection! 2001, I thought to myself how fun it'd be to record a trilogy of Objection themes from Ace Attorney.  This one finishes it off.  I had a blast with these songs!

Mathew A. Tolbert Looking forward to the next series if that is the format you're going for. I never played Phoenix Wright but the music from the games sounds great.

Every Frame a Painting

Dylan Byth Thanks again for this Tony! As a Coquitlamite who spends a lot of time in the MetroVan area it's really nice to finally see someone lay everything out and give a case for creating our own identity. Keep it up!

Cameron Donaldson I agree. I've been living in Toronto for a while now, but am originally from BC. I loved seeing you give Vancouver some attention. Also, I grew up on Como Lake Ave, about a 1 minute walk west of Blue Mountain St. Small world.
