My name is C.J. Boyd and I've been on one continuous tour since March of 2008. Great shows are what keep me going, but the awful ones tend to make the best stories. On this podcast, I talk to fellow musicians about the worst shows they've experienced. These can be funny or downright tragic, but there's something about telling the stories of our lowest points that illuminates why we commit our lives to playing live music. I'll be launching in October with links to the podcast itself.  But in the meantime, please help this thing get off the ground by making a pledge. Thanks!

If you have ideas of who I should have on the show, please let me know. Everyone is welcome to do this, but for patrons of this level, I will promise to contact anyone you send my way. I can't promise they'll agree to be on the show, but I will ask and try my best to make it happen.

If you're a musician and have a story you want to share, let me know and we'll arrange for you to be on the show. I also like to have the occasional non-musical guest, so this is still an option even if you don't make music. (I don't do interviews via skype or phone, so if you don't live in North America or Europe, please contact me before signing up for this, to be sure I can get to you). I will do my best to make it happen, but can't guarantee it.
Goals
$50 of $500 per month
Producing this podcast, fun as it is, is time consuming. In order to keep up the pace of one per week, I'll need to spend at least a few days a week on it. Since podcasts are generally free and don't produce any income, I'm hoping to reach $500 in pledges in order to have this by my part time job, in addition to the two full time jobs of booking shows and touring.
