I've been a long time fan of MDickie games and have been modding them for 14 years. Many years ago, I started the Mpire Mall; a popular fansite within the MDickie community. It initially was a very basic website that hosted a few personal mods, and had a forum.

The forum grew over the years and it was the place to be for MDickie mods. Now with the release of Wrestling Revolution 3D on Steam, I am getting the itch to make a new community in 2017.

The world is a bit different now, we have social media and things like Discord where we can share creations in a matter of clicks. There's not really any need for a forum anymore.

Sadly, MDickie has stated he will not be making Workshop support for WR3D, but this is understandable as the games are slightly different to normal games; modders have to replace things, not add them. So in reality, Workshop support is not possible.

I have already launched WR3Dmods.com because I love the potential that a community can produce when they are all in one place. I will produce my own mods, as well as host other fantastic mods made by contributors.

I've spent most of my adult life being a graphic designer, and I like to think it shows in my mods. My mods are professional and are to a high standard. Supporting me, supports the time it takes to make these mods and the money it costs to run the site. Anyone could make a Patreon and ask for money, but I like to think my work speaks for itself.

I want WR3D mods to be a supplementary website to my main WRHD mod which completely changes the look of the base game. Graphics are enhanced and stylised to fit the N64 look of WR3D.

WR3Dmods.com will be a clean and simple place to find additional mods for the game and they will all be created, or curated by myself. The community hasn't had a real mod site since the original Mall and i'm looking to change that in 2017 and beyond.

I'm serious about creating content for the game, and that means time. I love making stuff for the MDickie wrestling games, but it can be a bit disheartening when the community is quiet (or non existent).

A Patreon is here to show support for my work and efforts over the years [and years to come]. I happily do this stuff for free, but any spare change to contribute to server and domain costs will ease the little burden of my initial investment; and it will only inspire me to keep going!

In an ideal world I would love the site to feature every classic ring design, all the classic attires for wrestlers and lots more, a real repository of mods for all WR3D players to enjoy

Sadly I can't offer any rewards as such, as this is more of a supporting page.

I am frequently on the MDickie discord though so I am always available for chats, or helping with MDickie modding problems.

If this proves to be popular, I may have higher tier rewards for things such as modding requests. But we'll see!

This will cover the basic running costs of the site. This goal basically eliminates the tiny-niggling feeling that i'm 'wasting' my money on a free mod site.

Although, I love modding so it's not something I will quit after a month. It's been a 14 year long marathon so far!

I want to host great mods for everyone to enjoy. If the small financial investment can be covered by extremely generous Patreons, that would be fantastic.
