About

Wrestlenomics is a trusted source for research and analysis of the business of professional wrestling. We frequently cover news no other outlet attempts to or has the background to analyze.

Our work has been sourced by publications like The Wall Street Journal, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, The Wrap, New York Daily News, Vice, The Ringer, Forbes, The Hollywood Reporter, Bleacher Report, Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and many others.

We're the source wrestling fans, reporters, and financial analysts turn to for business analysis of pro-wrestling. We cover all aspects related to the industry including business deals, financial reports, key metrics, talent development, new media, legal actions, and more — on companies such as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), All Elite Wrestling (AEW), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Ring of Honor (ROH), Impact Wrestling, various indies, and other businesses.

This would not be possible without our informed listeners who contribute many questions, insights, concerns, and content suggestions. It's a pleasure to produce Wrestlenomics and your support makes it possible.

The Wrestlenomics brand was founded in 2013 by Chris "Mookie" Harrington, who began writing and podcasting about wrestling business as early as 2005. “Wrestlenomics Radio” was re-launched as a weekly podcast in 2017 with Chris and Brandon as co-hosts. Chris's expertise is currently being tapped by All Elite Wrestling, which he's been working for since the launch of the company in early 2019. He's currently not involved in producing Wrestlenomics content. He's on Twitter at @mookieghana.

Brandon is currently the sole author of Wrestlenomics content. He's also an independent wrestler, living in Buffalo, New York. Since 2015, his award-winning written work has focused the business of pro-wrestling. He’s on Twitter at @BrandonThurston.
