Wrestlenomics

is creating analysis about the business of pro-wrestling

About

Wrestlenomics is a brand dedicated to research and analysis of the business of professional wrestling.

Our work has been relied upon by The Wall Street Journal, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, The Ringer, Forbes, Wrestling Observer Newsletter, many financial institutions and numerous wrestling news websites.

We're the source wrestling fans, reporters and financial analysts turn to for business analysis of pro-wrestling. We cover all aspects related to the industry including business deals, metrics, talent development, financial reports, new media, legal actions, match statistics and more — on companies such as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), All Elite Wrestling (AEW), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Ring of Honor (ROH), Impact Wrestling, various indies and other businesses.

This would not be possible without our informed listeners who contribute many questions, insights, concerns and content suggestions. It's our pleasure to produce Wrestlenomics, and your support makes it possible.

The Wrestlenomics brand was founded in 2013 by Chris Harrington, who began writing and podcasting about wrestling business as early as 2005. “Wrestlenomics Radio” was re-launched as a weekly podcast in 2017 with Chris and Brandon as co-hosts. In 2019, Chris stepped away from the podcast to work for All Elite Wrestling.

Brandon is an independent wrestler, wrestling trainer and writer living in Buffalo, New York. Since 2015, his award-winning written work has focused on understanding the business of pro-wrestling and its audience. He’s on Twitter at @BrandonThurston.
