One of the things I find most compelling about the Internet is the explosion of user-generated content that it has enabled. Like a good manager believes in their people, and thus gets the best out of them, the Internet, and Patreon, specifically, are networked representations of a faith in humanity to be able to do great things, and create compelling content. I see the Internet as an invitation to do so, and see Patreon as a platform that can aid me in my quest to live up to the Internet's faith in both me, and all of us, to be able to do great things.
