New walkthrough video every month!
A walkthrough is a YouTube video where I take 15-30 minutes to show how I made a track or remix, behind-the-scenes. It can also be an in-depth look at a piece of gear that I use. People seem to really like these, and I'd love to do more!
Vote on another game remix!
It's another fan choice! You vote on the game and musical style, I'll make the music.
3rd weekly stream!
Currently, I'm streaming music production live on Twitch.tv twice a week: Mondays at 1PM EST, and Saturdays at 4PM EST. With your help, I can set aside enough time to do a 3rd scheduled day. (And you can vote on it, too!)
About
Hey, my name is Andrew and I love making music. I've been writing, producing, and remixing for over 10 years now under the name 'zircon'. Besides over 200 (!!) original tracks, I've created tons of video game remixes and worked on some notable game soundtracks like Soulcalibur V, Monkey Island 2 SE, and Dungeonmans. When I'm not making music, I'm designing sounds for Impact Soundworks, playing video games like Diablo or League of Legends, spoiling my cats, or spending time with my wife and frequent collaborator Jillian Aversa. Thanks for your support!

Hello, and thanks for checking my Patreon page!
Who is zircon?
My name is Andrew Aversa, and I'm a composer, producer, and remixer. You might have heard my music through OverClocked ReMix, on an original album like Identity Sequence, or through YouTubers and Twitch streamers like TotalBiscuit, Sevadus, and Bacon_Donut. I've even done my fair share of game soundtracks! I've been making music since 2003. A lot of what I create is electronic (trance, house, dubstep, electro, etc.) but I've also done orchestral tracks, funky jazz, ambient, rock, and more.
What are you creating?
My specialty is "organic electronic" dance music - a blend of flashy modern synths, rhythms, and ear candy, with really melodic and atmospheric elements. I often use a lot of jazzy and funky chords as well. You can hear one of my most popular original tracks, Augment, right here:
I'm also making remixes of game soundtracks old and new. In the past, I've covered games like Final Fantasy VI and VII, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Team Fortress 2, Castlevania, Lufia II, and Smash Bros Melee. I've done these remixes in a TON of different styles, usually combining several genres.. For example, here's a remix of the sub-castle theme from Super Mario World, Monstrous Turtles!
Why Patreon?
Making remixes and original tracks is extremely fun, but I always have to prioritize paid work like sound design, mixing, and mastering over zircon music. But through Patreon, you can directly support the creation of tracks like Augment, Across the Ocean, Monstrous Turtles, Time to Oil Up (Super Street Fighter IV), and hopefully many more like them!
Basically, your support enables me to spend less time working on non-zircon projects, and more time making awesome music for everyone. It will also help me stay consistent with my live streams on Twitch.tv, which I'm really having fun with right now and which I'd love to keep doing on a regular basis.
Cool! What do I do?
You can support me by pledging as little as $1 for each new song or remix I make. In return, you'll get some awesome rewards, not the least of which are instant downloads of my new material! I sincerely appreciate ANY and all support. You can of course cancel or change your pledge at any time, too.
Even if you don't pledge to this Patreon and you just watch my videos, join my live streams, and buy or stream my albums, I still really appreciate it. So THANK YOU for reading all this, and for helping me do what I love!
FAQ
Can I change or cancel my pledge anytime?
Yes - Patreon makes this super easy! There is no pressure at all to donate if you can't afford it.
How many tracks are you going to release a month?
My goal is one new track (original or remix) each month. If I do more than that, you'll only be charged for one.
Is Patreon the only way to get your stuff?
Not at all. My new music will always be made available through as many channels as possible, though some might take longer than others. Patreon is the best way to get early access to my tracks as soon as they're done, though!
