Zooscape is an e-zine of fantastic furry fiction. Here the animals can talk, magic flows, and the stars are in reach.

Furry fiction is a new and rapidly growing sub-genre of science-fiction and fantasy. At Zooscape, we plan to bring you the best furry fiction has to offer, publishing quarterly in March, June, September, and December.  Our editor and founder is Mary E. Lowd who edited FurPlanet’s anthology series, ROAR, from 2015-2019.

All money that we receive goes directly towards improving and expanding the zine.  Our goal is to make awesome furry fiction free and easily accessible, in order to spread the reach of the genre.  We believe there are lots of furry readers out there who simply don't know about furry fiction yet.

We currently pay 6 cents/word, up to $60, for original stories.  If we reach this goal, then we can raise the rate to 8 cents/word, up to $80, to match the increase in pro pay rates for short fiction according to SFWA.
