Choose your allies well. When a man places his hand in another man's hand, as in the common ritual of shaking hands or clasping wrists, he does not merely show that he does not have a weapon -- he places his very life in the other's care.
- From Gristen's fourth address to the adepts.

Thank you for your support! Plus, with this tier and above, you'll get access to the patron feed and things like that.

With the rebirth of mortality, came the return of suffering. Yet the Panacaea flowed freely, a gift for all, a sweet soothe for any pain.
- Aishia’s Histories, The Third Age

Thank you, and thank you again!

The Golden Age was an era of great privilege for mortals, an era when all had the gift of immortality and unrelenting plenty, when by all standards heaven had been brought to the world, but the Antefulmenes desired more, still...

For a contribution of 5$ and up, I will write your username on one of the thumbtacks I use with my organizational corkboards, so your support shall be seen there forever more!

(Disclaimer: I have atrocious writing, the thumbtacks are teeny, so I may have to shorten it. If you like I will just use your initials, to keep you anonymous!)

Jormen fought for the throne of the Second Empire across the board of a game of threestones, but lost. Many would-be Emperors have imagined that they would prevail where Jormen failed, but few have dared ask themselves: did Jormen lose the throne, or did he gain an emperor wiser than himself?
- Aishia’s Histories, The Fourth Age

By becoming a hero of the Dusk Age, you will gain early access to all public posts other than my monthly blog update.

Hero of the Silver Age

Agares duelled the gods while his city burned. Was this an act of hubris, ignoring the suffering of his people while seeking a death to make himself legendary? A last cry of mortal defiance against all of those who had entered the Thunder Gates and abandoned us? None can know but Agares and the gods he fought, and neither of them speak to us across the many ages.
- Aishia’s Histories, The Third Age

At this time, once more I can only offer my deepest appreciation, and the honorary title of Hero of the Silver Age

The first of the fallen gods was called ‘First Weaver’, for as they saw the capricious actions of the other Antefulmenes, their gaze also fell to the abandoned mortal world below, and they chose to spin the Deep Velvet as a gift to the innumerable masses who now could never follow the gods into the golden heavens.
- Aishia’s Histories, The Second Age.

At this level of support, I start running out of ways to show my thanks. So, each month you'll recieve a handwritten postcard with some kind of fun quote, either from my work or a work I find meaningful. (Patrons who have been around long enough to contribute a similar amount may get one of these as a one-off, too.)

Antefulmen

The Thunder Gates opened in the void, and ended the first era of mankind. The key had put all heavenly and earthly power at command of the First People. They paused to contemplate all humanity had done before, but saw nothing that could compare to their achievement. They had been blinded by the light of the Golden Age stretching before them
- Aishia's Histories, The Earth Legend.

At this level of support you will, single-handedly, unlock all of the current goals. Truly, these are the powers of those who opened the Thunder Gates.

Remember my novel Dog Country? Want to see it in print? Get us to this point, and this is how it’ll happen. If we get here, you’ll be able to follow along month by month as I hire an editor, look at getting together a new cover, and in general go through the tango of spending money to get the book ready to be re-launched in print, instead of struggling through it on my own like the first time. (This happened! Thank you so much everyone!)
