Atomic Music

Atomic was established in regional Australia in 2017. The service is dedicated to creating a platform that nurtures and supports the rural and regional Australian music community. Many rural original artists fall through the cracks of the established music industry and other organizations who primarily focus on metropolitan and/or established artists (i.e. Triple J, the SCA network). The Atomic network includes 24/7 digital radio station dedicated to Australian music, an independent streaming platform (Atomic On Demand) aimed at rectifying unfair artist royalty payment models established by competing platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music (100% of online sales profits from Atomic's platform are paid to artists), all sales also contribute to the weekly music charts - an award-winning independent countdown program that is broadcast to over a dozen FM community radio partners with a potential listenership of +1 million Aussies. Atomic also operates an established digital media network across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and its own websites, exclusively reporting on and promoting Australian music and artists.
