AA Beyond Belief is a website, a podcast, and a community of agnostics, atheists and freethinkers who are members of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Our website includes articles written by secular AA members who demonstrate through sharing their personal stories that there's a secular path to recovery in AA. The wide range of experience among secular people in recovery is endlessly fascinating and has been an inspiration to many.
The podcast features interviews with agnostics and atheists who share their personal stories of recovery in Alcoholics Anonymous. Podcast topics include: interpreting the AA program from a secular perspective, our experience as nonbelievers in Alcoholics Anonymous, interviews with authors and professionals in addiction treatment, and a discussion of books and movies related to recovery.
In addition to our site and podcast, we also host online secular AA meetings, and we offer support and community through our private Facebook group. If you're interested in joining the Facebook group or participating in the online meetings, please send us an email.
For those of us who work at AA Beyond Belief, this is a labor of love. We like to think that we've put some positive energy into the world, and that our podcast and website has been an inspiration to those who choose a secular path to recovery from addiction. We will always be grateful to our listeners and readers for giving us this amazing opportunity.

Goals
$148.64 of $1,000 per month
There's a lot we can do with a $1,000 per month. If we could raise this amount of money, we will include transcripts with every podcast, upgrade our equipment and website, and pay for editing services that allow us more time to create content.
We spend many hours of time editing podcasts and articles, but with enough money, we could pay others to do the editing work, so that we could spend more time producing more podcasts and writing more articles. Just not having to think about money would be a relief, and it would allow us to focus our entire energy and time with creating content.
It doesn't take much. If each one of our subscribers donated even $1 per month, it would help a great deal!
