I am an indie author publishing novels in The Stain series - a steamy international psychological romance featuring American psychologist Cassandra Abbington and her Russian lover, Sergei Karpov.

When I first published this novel in October 2021, I was immediately sent to Facebook Jail for violating community "standards." The cover photography (see below) is too provocative to show on Facebook or promote on Amazon. Believe it or not, it isn't the nudity that is objectionable, but the man's hand that implies sexual intent.

My immediate task is to redesign the cover and relaunch The Stain. Cassandra meets Sergei over a red wine spill on a cocktail dress, so it is fitting to create original art using ruby red cabernet sauvignon as the palette. Sometimes it takes two attempts to release The Stain!

The second book in the series is in the final round of editing and very close to completion. The third and fourth novels are entirely written and await editing. The fifth has a solid start with blazing action in the opening scene as Cassandra flees Moscow with her genius daughter, whose unusual abilities have caught the attention of the Russian government. My muse calls me to abandon the world's cares and write! But first, I need to buckle down and publish the work already done.

Why do this extraordinary work alone when friends can share in the joy?
