About Erin Darling

Erin Darling is a watercolor illustrator from Tacoma, WA. She is a queer Christian and single mom. Themes of community and inclusivity are important in her work.

Erin is the artist behind “100 days of invisible selves” which illustrated the human soul in abstract watercolors, as well as the Affectionate Animals series, turning vintage photographs into portraits of anthropomorphic couples.

Illustration projects you may recognize her from:
  • Coco and Olive: The Color of Love, by Michelle Madrid-Branch, illustrated by Erin Darling
  • Deer Ears, Instead of Lying, album art
  • Joshua Collins for Congress campaign art (WA-10)
  • Beewilderness puzzle designs, planetary series
Visit Erin’s blog here. You can also follow her on Instagram Twitter.
