About Heal Da Homies

Heal Da Homies was created to meet the needs of marginalized communities that are victims of systemic racism and inter-generational oppression due to food insecurity and policing systems. The org strives to acquire this through empowering the community in varying ways: clothing the homies (flea markets), protecting the homies (self-defense), educating the homies (political education), feeding the homies (pop-ups), and more.
Goals

When we reach 200 patrons, we will start small chapters in select prisons across the country. This will give us funding to send one title bi-monthly. We will also collect audio recordings + letters of their responses to the material to share with you all.
