Knowing Neurons

As scientists, we feel that we have a responsibility to communicate neuroscience in a way that's accurate (but not overly technical), easily comprehensible (without oversimplifying), and engaging (without needless exaggeration).

To that end, Knowing Neurons:

• Publishes articles on recent advances in neuroscience and exciting new scientific technology
• Interviews neuroscientists, both in print and through our podcast
• Reviews interesting books about the brain
• Illustrates neuroscience concepts through feature images and infographics

We believe in accessible and accurate science communication. As such, our content will always be free for curious minds to explore.

However, producing and expanding our neuroscience content costs both money and time. Currently, our Core Team and contributors all volunteer their time and resources for free, in order to make engaging and accessible brain-related resources for anyone to use.

Contributions from patrons like you would help us:

• Keep the lights on for the site
