Malkah Norwood

Norwood produces soulful songs of Zion—ethnic renditions of the book of Psalms, and messages of faith some of which are arranged in the language of modern Hebrew combining natural eastern sounds with captivating melodies of Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, and Soul to offer powerful lyrics, praises, and focused worship to YHWH, the G-d of Israel as told from the Hebrew Bible.

During her 2019 Sabbatical from her home in Los Angeles, California, Malkah was blessed to perform at Pardes Hanna, Israel in an impromptu on-stage collaboration with multi-talented Israeli, African, and American musicians such as global sound percussionist and producer @Sangit.

To date, Set-Apart Music and Meditation has accumulated over 2 million hits on YouTube, countless media shares, worldwide digital downloads, and hundreds of followers growing in number every day. With the generosity of faithful supporters on social media, Norwood distributed her first independent music album in Summer 2018.

Ashira Malka is currently recording her second independent album in the ancient Bedouin culture of the middle east where several of her latest official music videos such as her original Set-Apart Music and Meditation, "GREAT IS YAH", as found on her YouTube channel, being one of the many artist creations of her testimony of devotion to the Torah.
