About Ritual Dust

Hello folks, I'm Lizbeth, a goth druid, artist, and musician exploring the intersection of occultism, psychedelia, and folklore. I work with a variety of mediums, including pencil drawing, painting, music, photography, lettering, zines, woodcarving, and more. The images I conjure take inspiration from natural and spiritual landscapes, megalithic sites, medieval weapons and tools, and occult symbolism. Through these images, I yearn to learn more about ancient traditions, rituals, and cultures while at the same time re-enchanting our present times via the revival of old practices and the creation of new folklore. I'm not seeking historical accuracy, nor do I follow new-age reinterpretations, instead focusing on transmuting old knowledge and practices into new ways of interpreting the world we live in. A lot of the folklore and stories I tell through my art come from my own subjectivity and experiences, and I share them with the intention of inspiring and encouraging others to look at the world in different ways, and perhaps make their own folklore from their own lived realities.

Complementary to my creative work, I also document my weird walks and travels with photos and written logs, collect plant-based recipes, and share some woodworking and general making knowledge that I've collected over the years. All of it can be seen on my personal website.

You can keep up to date with my projects by following me on instagram, mastodon, or by subscribing to my RSS feed.

Thanks to everyone who supports me. It means a lot to me and I'm so grateful for it.
