Struggling to find meaning and beauty at the end of time, I write about spiritual and ecological issues from an anti-modern pagan perspective. I am the founder and writer of the Tiger's Leap blog, and I regularly write for the Dark Mountain Collective, Gods & Radicals, and Black Seed magazine. In addition to continuing my writing online and in various print publications, I am currently working on my first book, which will engage more deeply with the spiritual and ecological crisis we are facing, tracing its roots through authors such as Carl Jung, D.H. Lawrence, and Robinson Jeffers, and attempting to come to terms with what is to come.
Searching for my gods and the spirits of the living world, I live in a small cabin, deep in the woods of New England, with my wife and children. I split wood to burn for our heat, bake bread for us to eat, grow vegetables, and homeschool my children. We spend the days roaming through the woods, splashing in mountain streams, reading aloud, singing, and painting. I try to create for them as much as I can the joys of the old ways of life. It is our ultimate goal to produce as much of our food and supplies as is possible. This spring we are adding chickens and the following year, we hope to add pigs! I believe that our only hope is to return to the path of those who have come before us.
Our expenses are few but the support of my patrons is vital if I am to be able to continue writing and working toward this vision. I invite you to join me on this journey. Thank you for your support!
