Coral is made out of countless tiny polyps, symbiotic animals holding photosynthesizing plankton within their tissues and creating massive reef structures out of thousands of generations of skeletons cemented together. Polyps form a strong base of support, and we are so grateful for even the smallest contribution!
Lichen
Supporters at this level receive a fun, short icebreaker or segue exercise monthly.
Lichen are composite organisms that arise from symbiotic relationships between algae and fungi - the photosynthesizing algae feed the fungi while being sheltered and watered inside their protective bodies. Lichen can gain a foothold on almost any surface, and gradually decompose stone into soil, creating the ground on which others can flourish.
Lichen supporters will get monthly emails with icebreakers and segues, quick easy games that invite participation and bring the group together.
Mycelium
Supporters at this level receive a challenging game or helpful discussion tool monthly.
Mycelial fungi spread tiny networks throughout the soil, sharing resources and information, helping trees to uptake nutrients necessary to become complex vertical micro-ecosystems.
Mycelium supporters will get monthly emails with games, puzzles, challenges, visual aids and discussion tools that can help us to connect participants, encourage sharing, build a good group dynamic, and break down complex topics to make them accessible.
Supporters at this level also receive other pop-ed exercises.
Chlorophyll
Supporters at this level receive videos of pop-ed programs periodically.
Chlorophyll has its own genetic code, and is believed to be the distant descendant of primitive cyanobacteria that inserted itself into other life forms, thereby giving them the power of photosynthesis, and beginning the evolution of plants! Harness the light, and become a Chlorophyll supporter to receive videos of our most successful pop-ed programs.
Supporters at this level also receive access to all pop-ed exercises.
Mitochondrion
Supporters at this level receive one-on-one mentorship annually
Mitochondria are the power-plants of our cells, converting sugars into energy and making all of our activities possible. Like chlorophyll, they too have their own DNA and are descended from single-celled organisms that were absorbed into others, making more complex life possible. Get fired up, and be a Mitochondrion supporter to receive an annual session of one-on-one mentorship, advice, and ideas to help you develop YOUR great new popular education programs!
Supporters at this level receive all pop-ed exercises and videos. Support at this level makes an excellent gift for a young educator in your life!
Pollinator
Supporters at this level can host a visiting workshop, training, or conversation annually
Pollinators survive on flowers, and flowers would not exist without them. Cross-pollination is a process of evolution, reproduction, diversification, and abundance of life. Help me to "cross-pollinate the grassroots" by hosting me in your community - I would be just thrilled to share an in-depth workshop or a fun story-telling.

About Symbiosis Strategic Education
Goals
We are a long way from fully funding a new project, and I am certainly not getting rich off this Patreon campaign... in fact, that is not even my goal! I have high hopes that I can use the support of many to show grantors and other potential funders that there is already a great need and popular backing for this work, to encourage them to give more.
