The Shutter Angle is a photo specialty publication providing news, product reviews, and other stories in a personal and unique way. Photography is a pursuit of passion, and writing about it should be nothing less — whether about the art, the artist, or the technology behind it. The Shutter Angle was founded by Daven Mathies, previously the photo section editor at Digital Trends. Daven has been writing about photography for nearly a decade and has been involved in the photo industry in one form or another since before the first iPhone launched. People keep telling him he needs to take himself more seriously, and he's already regretting choosing the above photo to represent him. Oh well.
