About Third Impact Anime
Welcome! Third Impact Anime is an anime panelist & podcasting group made up of a bunch of nerds who can't shut up about anime & the community surrounding it. We host a bi-weekly podcast where we discuss anime from all eras and genres in an educational and entertaining way. We also attend conventions across the South East, performing panels and making friends along the way.
Since 2017, we've reviewed dozens of anime TV series' and films like Demon Slayer, Psycho-Pass, Dorohedoro, Penguin Highway, Tamako Market, Little Witch Academia, Fate/Zero, BEASTARS, and a bunch of Lupin the Third.
We also interview the occasional anime industry guest like Tiffany Grant (the voice of Asuka in Neon Genesis Evangelion), David Wald (actor & ADR Director for Sentai Filmworks), Robert Woodhead (the founder and CEO of AnimEigo), and Helen McCarthy (anime scholar and professional writer).
We've also featured creators in the fan space like BOOMSLANK (multi-media artist), Daryl Surat (co-host of Anime World Order), Erica Friedman (Yuri Scholar and founder of YuriCon), GrantTheThief (co-host of the Blade Licking Thieves Podcast), and Metaandpotatoes (Evangelion Zine Publisher).
