Some of you have followed my career since I first hit the slam scene with the poem “Wordaholic!” This tier is for my fellow wordaholics who can support a career of raising consciousness through the art of poetry and performance. Because of you, I can bring my American Griot Project programming to theatres, libraries, and schools in marginalized communities. This level of support goes directly to the effort to bring HairStory: Reclaiming My Crown to the stage next Spring. This level has the benefits of the previous tiers but also includes the following:
