Oh la la! We've made it baby. At last the course I always envisioned via a medium I could not quite yet imagine back in 2015. FYWOC began as a course designed to enlighten a general populace about the rad badassery of WOC -- through film. Four full-length movies selected on themes-- including '90s Chick Flicks, Rise of the Black Glamazon, 80s Indies, and many more! -- will be watched, rewound, dissected, laughed at, booed, and cheered weekly each month via live watch parties and video talk backs. I'll provide as many link and means of access to each of the selected films as I possibly can. You'll also get my notes and questions to entertain while watching solo.

This is the MOTHERLODE. It. : Intersectionality. Dis/Ability. White Supremacy. Antiblackness. Decolonization. Indigenization. Gender fluidity. Queer rebellion. And more. Via massive amounts of information compellingly presented. It's a labor of love and struggle and justice and discomfort. As a subscriber you would receive FIRST ACCESS to my semi polished but still rough drafts for each lesson as well as the opportunity to dialogue about how we're digesting all the material in monthly live video chats.
