About Mark Stramaglia

Welcome!

I'm an experimental musician and digital artist. I create games and music software under the name Bludgeonsoft, and music and art as Wizardmaster. I am the creator of Vilmonic, an artificial life sim where you breed pixel art life forms, available on desktop and mobile.

My various games and music software have been written up in Boing Boing, Rock Paper Shotgun, Wired Magazine, Computer Music Journal, and Computer Music Magazine. BackToBasics, my sample-triggering music app, won honorable mention at the International Festival of Electroacoustic Music, Bourges, France, and was reportedly used live on the Tonight Show by Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran.

I'm beginning work on two crowdfunding projects. My hope is that this Patreon page will help fund things enough to get those launched. Every little bit helps, and I very much appreciate your support!

Vilmonic 2 - new life forms, more craftables, maps, gene editing, god mode, modding, and maybe even multiplayer!
Wizardmaster vinyl LP - the first in a series of releases of Greater Wizardmaster recordings, pressing costs about $2,000 US for 500 units.
